Tilt monitoring of a diaphragm wall at the new Volkstheater Rostock

On the construction project "New Volkstheater Rostock" (Neubau Volkstheater Rostock), the excavation pit keeps getting deeper.
Since January 2026, we have used high-precision tilt sensors to check at all times whether the wall of the excavation pit moves.
Even the smallest movements of less than a millimetre are recorded.
We have installed a total of 6 tilt sensors around the excavation pit. They send their readings via a gateway to a web monitoring platform.
If a preset alarm value is exceeded, the system automatically sends notifications to email addresses or mobile phone numbers.
This way, no movement goes unnoticed.
