What is a local building regulation?

With it the municipality sets rules under the building code of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Landesbauordnung M-V), for example for the design of buildings, roofs or fences.

Which survey you need and when

    It is required by § 7 BauVorlVO M-V. If buildings or their spacing areas (Abstandsflächen) come closer than 0.5 m to the boundary, an official surveying body must make it, for example a publicly appointed surveying engineer (ÖbVI).

  4. Before building starts: setting out
